Neris River Valley Scenic Trails

Explore peaceful walking routes, riverside viewpoints, and picnic spots designed for leisurely pacing and rest stops

Planning Your Visit

Quick checklist for a comfortable day on the trails

Check Weather & Surfaces

Most paths are gravel or paved. A few sections can get muddy after rain — bring appropriate footwear if it's been wet recently.

Pack Layers & Sun Protection

Mornings are cooler than midday. Bring a light jacket and hat. The river offers some shade but not everywhere — sunscreen helps on longer sections.

Bring Water & Snacks

Most scenic spots don't have vendors nearby. Carry at least 500ml of water and energy snacks. Picnic benches are available at marked areas.

Plan Rest Points

Every trail has benches at viewpoints. Pace yourself and don't hesitate to stop. There's no time limit — enjoy the scenery at your own speed.
