Are the routes suitable for people who haven't walked much lately?
Yes. The Vokė Valley Loop is specifically designed for this — it's mostly flat with regular benches. You can take it at whatever pace feels right for you. There's no competition, no schedule. If you need to rest more frequently, that's perfectly fine.
What kind of footwear do I need?
Comfortable walking shoes with good grip are ideal. Most of our routes use gravel or packed earth paths. We've created a detailed footwear guide that covers what works best for different seasons and trail conditions.
Can I bring family members or friends?
Absolutely. These trails work well for mixed groups of different fitness levels since you can go at your own pace. Families with younger children enjoy the flatter routes with river views.
What's the best time of year to walk these routes?
Each season offers something different. Spring brings wildflowers, summer is warm and leafy, autumn has beautiful colors, and winter offers clear views. We recommend checking our seasonal notes in each guide before you go.
Where can I get more information or ask questions?
We're here to help. Reach out with any questions about the routes, your fitness level, or what to expect. We can recommend which trail might be the best fit for you.
